It follows the programme of my AI training for companies, with practical cases chosen for sales.
Why sales teams need AI
A salesperson spends most of their time on things other than selling. According to Salesforce's State of Sales survey, sales reps spend 60% of their time on non-selling tasks: data entry, call notes, research and writing. Those are exactly the tasks AI speeds up. The study published in Science in 2023 measured 40% less writing time, and McKinsey estimates the sales productivity gain at 3 to 5% of sales spend.
The sales tasks AI speeds up
| Task | What AI does |
|---|---|
| Meeting preparation | Summary of the company, the people you will meet and the questions to ask |
| Written proposals and quotes | First draft from your notes and templates |
| Emails and follow-ups | Personalised messages in your own tone |
| Call notes | Summary of a conversation, next steps and pipeline update |
| Handling objections | Structured arguments based on your offer |

The rules to follow
AI does not know your customer: it works from what you give it. The training teaches you to check every fact before a meeting, not to enter personal or confidential data, and to reread every message before sending it.
