It follows the programme of my AI training for companies, with practical cases chosen for HR.
Why HR saves time with AI
HR produces a lot of repetitive text: job ads, replies to candidates, procedures and internal notes. In LinkedIn's Future of Recruiting 2025 survey, recruiting teams that use generative AI report saving about 20% of their working week, or one day. In BCG's AI at Work 2026 survey, 50% of HR employees who use AI regularly report saving about eight hours a week. Both figures are based on what users report.
The HR tasks AI speeds up
| Task | What AI does |
|---|---|
| Job ads | Clear, complete first draft from the job description |
| Interview preparation | Question guide tailored to the role |
| HR documentation | Procedures, welcome handbook and answers to employees' common questions |
| Internal communication | Notes, announcements and sensitive messages to rephrase |
| Training | Skills development plan and onboarding materials |

The limits to respect in HR
In HR, AI assists and a person decides. The training works on three rules:
Personal data. A CV contains personal data protected by the GDPR. It should not be pasted into an assistant without a framework defined by the company.
Hiring decisions. The EU AI Act classifies AI systems designed to screen applications or evaluate candidates as high-risk. The corresponding obligations will apply from 2 December 2027. The training is limited to support uses: writing, summarising and organising.
AI literacy. HR often leads the staff training required by Article 4 of the EU AI Act: see the guide Is AI training mandatory?.
These rules are set out in an AI usage policy.
