It follows the programme of my AI training for companies, with practical cases chosen for administrative work.
Why admin work benefits first from AI
Administrative tasks are repetitive, written and template-based: this is where AI helps most. The UK government tested an AI assistant with 20,000 civil servants. The average reported saving is 26 minutes per person per day. The trial report breaks the saving down by task: 24 minutes on drafting a document, 19 minutes on creating a presentation and 9 minutes on scheduling a meeting.
The workload is real: according to Microsoft, the average employee receives 117 emails a day.
The admin tasks AI speeds up
| Task | What AI does |
|---|---|
| Emails | Replies in your tone and a summary of a long thread |
| Meeting notes | Clean write-up of notes, with decisions and actions listed |
| Documents | Letters, procedures and reports from a template |
| Organisation | Agenda, schedule and follow-up list |
| Finding information | Summary of a long document and comparison of two versions |

The rules to follow
Admin staff see the company's most sensitive information. The training teaches you to recognise what must never be entered (personal data, contracts, non-public financial data), to anonymise a document and to reread every result before sharing it.
